ST. LOUIS - A 52-year-old St. Louis man was charged in a fatal Aug. 21 stabbing.
Booker Lloyd, 52 was charged with second degree murder and armed criminal action, the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's office announced on Tuesday.
Lloyd is accused of stabbing a 33-year-old female on Aug. 21 at the 700 block of Goodfellow Boulevard.
St. Louis Metropolitan Police responded to call at 2:45 p.m. on Aug. 21 at the above location in relation to a cutting. Upon arrival, the victim was located unresponsive, suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The woman, who's name has not been released yet, was transported to an area hospital, where she would was later pronounced deceased.
Shortly after police were on the scene, Lloyd contacted police himself to surrender
Lloyd was taken into custody in the 5800 block of Delmar without incident.
St. Louis Metropolitan Homicide Division is still investigating the incident.
