ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A St. Louis native is helping NASA to obtain their goal of having a human reach Mars.

Sean Fuller graduated from Eureka High School in 1992, now he is a manager of NASA's 'Gateway Program International' project.

The 'Gateway' project will be a new space station that will orbit the moon. The space station would become a vital component of Artemis missions to return to the Mars surface so NASA astronauts can continue to chart a path for the first human mission to Mars in the future

Fuller joined Total Information A.M. Friday to discuss the 'Gateway' Space Station, when could we see the mission to Mars finally happen and also discusses his St. Louis roots.
