ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- Lambert Airport is a landmark. Its corridors haven't changed much for most of our lives. The thought of replacing it might make you feel nostalgic, like tearing down Busch Stadium II did.
But time marches on, and a possible multi-billion-dollar plan was unveiled Thursday night. One terminal, one security, one concourse with all the gates. The vision uses the historic Terminal 1 as the entrance hall, replacing the mish-mash of disconnected hallways with a single, 62-gate concourse.
