ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis Police say they have arrested 27-year old Dwayne Davis with the help of Illinois State Police.
Davis is accused of shooting and killing 45 year old Jesse Jones Thursday in the middle of the afternoon in the 5900 Block of Hamilton Terrace.
When St. Louis Police arrived on the scene, Jones was not breathing or conscious. Homicide detectives assumed the investigation.
Today (Saturday), the St. Louis Circuit Attorney charged Dwayne Davis with First Degree Murder, Robbery First Degree, unlawful possession of a firearm and two counts of Armed Criminal Action.
St. Louis Police did not release any information on a motive for the killing. Davis remains in custody.
