ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- Police are "pleading" for any new leads in a September homicide, as they re-release surveillance video of the shooting.
The two subjects, a man and a woman, are seen at about 1 a.m. in the area of St. Charles and 20th Street downtown, where 27-year-old Demetrise Thomas was shot and killed on Sunday, September 20th, 2021.

Video and photos show the two walking together and the man firing shots toward another person while standing alongside a row of parked cars.
Police found the victim, Thomas, lying near the curb. He'd been shot in the torso. He was taken to a hospital where he died.
Less than 24 hours later, during a vigil for Thomas being held in the same location, Cedric Owens was shot and killed in a spray of gunfire. Additionally, two women and another man were injured.
Police do not believe there's a "concrete" connection between the killings of Thomas and Owens.
