ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOX) - Two people wanted in connection to a shooting and carjacking in north St. Louis County that left a victim in critical condition have been arrested by police in Atlanta.
The pair were located inside the stolen vehicle from North County by Atlanta Police officers on Tuesday night. They drove away but were later found again by police. They were caught after trying to flee on foot.
James Williams, 20, and Josiah Harwell, 19, were arrested and face aggravated assault, possession of marijuana, fleeing and other charges in Atlanta. They are both also facing charges in St. Louis County.
Local police in have been looking for them since the April 17 shooting and carjacking on Dunn Road near West Florissant Avenue. Police say the pair shot a man then took his vehicle.
Atlanta Police located the car that was listed as stolen by St. Louis County Police.
Both suspects were booked in Fulton County Jail, and charges are still pending.
