PGA Tour officials announced Tuesday that the BMW Championship will be held in the St. Louis area at the Bellerive Country Club in 2026.

The PGA has made stops at the Town and Country course before, most recently in 2008. The BMW Championship is the second to last event in the PGA Tour's playoffs.

The Bellerive Country Club first hosted the PGA in 1965, making it the youngest course to host the U.S. Open.

The PGA reports that hosting the tournament could have an economic impact of more than $30 million for the St. Louis region, plus they say they'll play a "vital philanthropic role" but introducing golf fans to the Evan Scholars Foundation, which awards full tuition and housing scholarships to young caddies.

Since 2007, the BMW Championship has reportedly raised more than $40 million for caddie scholarships, which has helped send more than 3,300 people to college.
