
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A 32-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint by a stranger on Sunday in the Central West End after the stranger helped him get his vehicle freed from the snow.
According to St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the man reported his vehicle became stuck in the snow while he was trying to enter the Parc Frontenac apartment garage. But luckily, a male stranger in an SUV helped him get his car freed from the snow.
After the 32-year-old man parked his car in the garage, the same male stranger approached him and pointed a pistol at him, demanding the man to give him his car keys.
The 32-year-old man said he relinquished his car keys and retreated to call police. When officers arrived, they discovered the car was not taken and was still at the location.
