ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - KMOX has confirmed that an employee in Mayor Tishaura Jones' administration has tested positive for Covid 19.
The person who tested positive is doing fine and spokesman Nick Dunne tells KMOX the majority of employees in the mayor's office are vaccinated, but adds masks are generally worn whenever there are staff meetings and gatherings.
Mayor Jones and other staffers were being tested for the virus and told to work from home and isolate. The employee advised Jones of the diagnosis Thursday night.
The person who tested positive was fully vaccinated.
