ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis Police say they have an alleged carjacker jailed after spotting the stolen car in the area of Keokuk and Ray Sunday afternoon.
Police attempted to stop the stolen Dodge Challenger, but the driver took off, a pursuit started and while chasing the suspect the police car had an accident at Broadway and Lafayette. The police officers and the people in another car were transported to the hospital.

Then, the Real Time Crime Center and other officers found the carjacked vehicle Downtown. There was then a second pursuit which ended with the suspect crashing at Forest Park and Sarah.
The suspect was chased on foot and eventually arrested. Police say they found a loaded firearm and a large amount of drugs.
