ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - One of the US Navy's Blue Angel Jets touched down at the Spirit of St. Louis airport Monday as tickets for the 2024 Air Show and STEM Expo go on sale the same day.
While the airshow is still months away from happening on June 8-9, families and kids still have the opportunity to be able to plan for a air show that has captivated St. Louis for over a decade.
Mark Sutherland, a member of the Executive Committee, says this event is an opportunity to appreciate aviation but also teach kids about opportunities in robotics and engineering.
"They could be pilots, they could be engineers, they could the next generation of fighter jets through Boeing and in St. Louis," said Sutherland. "They are our future and we want to make sure this show inspires them towards that."
