A tornado warning has been issued for parts of the St. Louis area.
The NWS says that until 1:15 p.m., west-central St. Charles and southeast Warren Counties are under effect.
At 12:31 p.m., they say, a severe squall line capable of producing tornadoes and wind damage were spotted near Treloar moving northeast at 45 miles per hour. The storm could also impact Innsbrook, Wright City and Wentzville. It includes parts of I-70 between exits 188 and 209.
