The video was posted Wednesday by lamaraindigo and it has more than 631,000 views. In it, she expresses her frustration that the person or people responsible for the recent shootings haven't been brought to justice.

"The fact that nobody is doing anything is really disheartening," she says. "I think people in St. Louis who have lived here their whole lives are really desensitized to all the violence ... Nobody is doing anything so this is me doing something."

In the last week in the city of St. Louis, there have been two Black women and one white woman killed, six Black women and one Hispanic woman have also been shot, according to Fox 2.

"Something is wrong, Black women in St. Louis need help," she says.

On Tuesday, police in St. Louis and St. Louis County announced they have joined forces with the FBI and ATF on three murder investigations. They did not classify the cases as a serial killer at this point nor have they found evidence that any of the shootings are gang related. The killings happened between Sept. 13 and Saturday. Police say a 16-year-old girl was killed in St. Louis County, and a man and woman who were shot 2 miles apart in north St. Louis.

The video by lamaraindigo mentions the recent shooting deaths of two women, a 49-year-old found in 3800 block of W. Florissant and 28-year-old on the 4500 block of Adelaide. The deaths promoted St. Louis police to release a public safety alert about crimes against sex workers in the area.
