About the Project
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is finalizing a study of I-64 from Green Mount Road to Illinois Route 158 in St. Clair County, Illinois. The I-64 Preliminary Engineering Studies include widening of I-64 and improvements to the I-64/Green Mount Road Interchange.
Meeting Purpose and Goals
The purpose of the meeting is to introduce the project and proposed I-64 improvements and receive questions or comments. The presentation will address the need for expansion of I-64 to 6-lanes from Green Mount Road to west of IL Route 158 and improvements the I-64 / Green Mount Road interchange. Exhibits and aerial maps are included in the presentation and available for review. Questions and comments may be submitted online during and following the presentation.
