ST. LOUIS, MO (KMOX) - If you have a 'Smart Tic' it means you have a "compulsion to fill any momentary lull in stimulus or social contact with smartphone activity" according to the graphic info website Information is Beautiful. St. Louis-based Media Literacy expert Julie Smith highlights some of the new, potential, disorders listed by the site in the latest KMOX Media Minute.

There's "procrastivity", which Smith says is procratinating by looking for an installing productivity apps on your phone. You may also suffer from "computational bleed" when reality doesn't match the virtual world.

Smith says the bottom line is being aware of how you may be impacted by the media and technology.
