ST. LOUIS (KMOX) A memorial service will be held for Bob Kramer next Wednesday, June 21st, in St. Louis. Known for his puppets, or Marionnettes, he died in a January fire.
KMOX talked with Bob's sister Pat Amerman and his love for puppets. "He was interested in puppets from a very young age and the whole family got involved, my dad helped with puppet control and staging and my mother sewed costumes and both my mother and I performed with Bob."
Bob Kramer graduated from Mehlville High School and Pat says he never looked back. And whether the family wanted to get involved or not, they did. "We had arms and legs, we had no choice and he had such a love for it, it was just beautiful."
Amerman says since all of Bob's contacts were lost in the fire, it's been tough piecing together his contact list. That's why they are asking people who want to attend the memorial service to register at bobkramermemorial@comcast.net
