While building a snow man may be the go-to winter activity, one man decided to take it to the next-level by bringing some history to his front yard.
To celebrate the first major snowfall of the year, Robert Schott of New Jersey decided to build an exact replica of the Abraham Lincoln statue located in the Lincoln Memorial.
Not only did the masterpiece become an attraction in the neighborhood, but it has since gone viral for its intricate detail.
Per Fox News, the snow sculpture stands at 14-feet tall. And it took a whopping 60 hours to complete.
This is not the first impressive snow sculpture made Schott has made as he aims to make a new snow design every year!
“I’m always asked why I do this. One is I like to create, but I think more importantly is the joy it brings to people that come to see it,” he told the outlet.
Many online were quite impressed with his craftsmanship, which managed to make the snow statue look like the real thing.
Hopefully, the weather doesn't melt the masterpiece too quickly!
