Join NCJWSTL as we welcome Kathy Najimy at Sisters Act!: Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at The Ritz-Carlton.

Since 1895, the National Council of Jewish Women St. Louis (NCJWSTL) has confronted the most urgent social and economic challenges facing women, children, and families. Sisters Act! is a special fundraiser that ensures NCJWSTL continues this crucial work for years to come. NCJWSTL is proud to celebrate more than 125 years of strengthening the St. Louis community. NCJWSTL does not wait for problems to solve themselves. When we see a student in need of a backpack and winter coat, we are not only there to provide those supplies to keep that child safe, warm, confident, and ready to learn, we also address the circumstances and policies that caused the student’s family to need assistance in the first place.

Your attendance at Sisters Act! supports NCJWSTL’s programs including:

The Back to School! Store provides 2,000 children with new clothing, school supplies, winter gear, and so much more to ensure students are prepared and excited on the first day of school to learn with confidence.

The Healing Hearts Bank program provides short-term microloans to women and families who may not have access to traditional banking to help with income generation, credit building, and economic justice through partnerships with community organizations.

These programs and many more, are the way that NCJWSTL continues to live our mission of turning progressive ideals into action. See you at Sisters Act!
