A boy in Fayette County, Pennsylvania is doing well after he was chased into an area Family Dollar Store earlier this week.
Surveillance video posted on social media shows a black bear climbing over the front counter of the store in Markleysburg on Monday.
KDKA-TV reports the 11-year-old ran into the store for cover.
Once inside, the bear wandered around the store, but reportedly didn’t cause any serious damage.
The boy and a cashier inside the store were able to escape after the bear walked toward the back.
The boy and cashier went outside and into car to hide from the bear until it left.
KDKA-TV says the bear was in the store around 10 minutes.
Bear sightings in Southwestern Pennsylvania are not uncommon, but a bear going into a store and chasing someone is.
