Talk about incredible luck: A Dallas resident is $5 million dollars richer thanks to a scratch-off lottery ticket.
The winner, who was not identified, purchased the Luxe game ticket at a local 7-Eleven store for $50, according to the Texas Lottery.
Texas Lottery rules state that anyone who wins more than $1 million can remain anonymous, so the winner has opted to stay in the shadows. As such, how the lucky winner plans to spend their winnings remains a mystery.
The Luxe scratch-off game in Texas still has three more $5 million prizes available. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game -- which offers more than $236.7 million in total prizes -- are one in 3.48, including break-even prizes, according to lottery officials.
