Jeep is giving Americans legally named George Washington a unique shot at a new 2026 Wrangler — but only if the U.S. men’s national soccer team wins the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The automaker launched the “Wrangler for Washingtons” promotion, part of its “All In on America” campaign, as soccer fever builds across the country during the North America-hosted tournament. The first 100 eligible U.S. residents who register at wranglerforwashingtons.com and are legally named George Washington would each receive a new two-door 2026 Jeep Wrangler Sport S if Team USA claims the championship.
Registration opened in mid-June and runs through July 19 or until the final match, whichever comes first. Entrants must be U.S. residents at least 18 years old. Jeep will verify names and eligibility, with winners responsible for taxes on the vehicle’s value (MSRP around $39,685). The brand selects the color and key options.
The patriotic stunt ties into the nation’s 250th anniversary celebrations and leans on American history and underdog spirit. A promotional spot featuring comedian Iliza Shlesinger highlights the long odds, noting the U.S. has never won the World Cup.
The U.S. took an early step with a 4-1 victory over Paraguay on Friday in Inglewood, California, but faces a tough path through the group stage and beyond in the expanded 48-team tournament hosted by the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
The campaign has generated buzz online, blending marketing creativity with national pride. While the odds of Team USA winning it all remain long, the promotion has already put a spotlight on the tournament and Jeep’s adventurous brand image.
