NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An unruly passenger forced a flight from LaGuardia Airport to divert on Wednesday evening, according to airport officials.

The Frontier Airlines flight 1335 was headed to Orlando when it had to be re-routed to land at Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

A passenger aboard the flight told ABC11 the incident began when a passenger began to complain loudly that the woman in the seat behind him was sticking him with a needle to steal his DNA.

He then became more agitated and allegedly began threatening other passengers, including a baby, that he would kill everyone on board.

Six other passengers aboard the flight were able to restrain the man until they landed, where RDU law enforcement, fire rescue, and Wake County EMS responders were waiting to escort the unruly passenger off the plane.

The flight spent approximately two hours on the ground at RDU before resuming its route to Orlando.

A representative from the Federal Bureau of Investigation said Thursday morning that no charges have been filed, but the incident remains under investigation.
