Texas man charged with threatening to 'slaughter' FBI agents connected to Hunter Biden investigation

“We’ll hunt you [expletive]s down and slaughter you like the traitorous dogs you are in your own [expletive] homes,” said a Tuesday voicemail left by a Texas man for a Federal Bureau of Investigation agent.

A press release from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas identified the man as 43-year-old Timothy Muller of Fort Worth, who was charged with interstate threatening communications and influencing, impeding, or retaliating against a federal official in a criminal complaint and arrested at his home Thursday. He allegedly contacted an FBI agent who was investigating Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden.

The younger Biden was convicted of three felony charges related to the purchase of a revolver in 2018. Prosecutors said he lied on a mandatory gun-purchase form by saying he was not illegally using or addicted to drugs.

“Jurors found Hunter Biden guilty of lying to a federally licensed gun dealer, making a false claim on the application by saying he was not a drug user and illegally having the gun for 11 days,” Audacy reported.

Hunter’s trial came on the heels of former President Donald Trump’s “hush money” trial in New York. Trump, the presumptive GOP presidential candidate, was convicted on 34 felony counts.

While Trump has claimed that the legal action against him was “rigged” (as he also claimed about the results of the 2020 election that he lost to Biden), the president said he would accept the verdict in Hunter’s trial and not seek to pardon his son. Still, both Hunter Trump have both argued “they were victimized by the politics of the moment,” per Audacy’s report.

In his voicemail, Muller referenced both Hunter and Trump, who were referred to in the press release by initials. He placed the call to an FBI special agent at around 5:03 p.m. Tuesday.

“The agent was known to have been involved in an investigation into a laptop belonging to H.B. Shortly before Mr. Muller allegedly placed his call to the agent, media outlets reported that H.B. had been convicted following a trial related to a 2018 firearm purchase,” said the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas.

Muller said “hey,” and the agent then disconnected the call. Then, Muller called back and left an approximately one-minute five second voicemail threatening the agent and the agent’s family.

“You can run, but you can’t [expletive] hide,” Muller allegedly said, before making claims about child pornography and sexual violence.

He didn’t stop there.

“So here’s how it’s gonna go,” Muller continued, per the press release. “[T.]’s gonna win the re-election, and then we’re gonna [expletive] go through the FBI and just start throwing you [expletive]s into jail. Or, you can steal another election, and then the guns will come out, and we’ll hunt you [expletive]s down and slaughter you like the traitorous dogs you are in your own [expletive] homes. In your own [expletive] beds. The last thing you’ll ever hear are the horrified shrieks of your widow and orphans. And then you know what we’re going to do? … We’re going to slaughter your whole [expletive] family.”

Muller also allegedly sent the agent several texts.

“How’s the family? Safe?” read one of them. Another said: “Did you [expletive]s really think you were going to disenfranchise 75 million Americans and not die? Lol.”

If Muller is convicted, he faces up to 10 years in federal prison. He is presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
