A ceasefire between the United States and Iran could be in jeopardy. The US has seized an Iranian cargo ship that tried to run its blockade. Tehran is vowing to retaliate. KMOX Host Megan Lynch asked CBS News Military Analyst Jeff McCausland how successful blockades are as a tactic to force concession. "They take an awful lot of time," explains McCausland, "often times it will take months and I've seen blockades last years."

McCausland points out, the Iranians are losing an estimated $400 million per day in exports. "For them right now, probably having a great effect."

He says it's like a freighter fired up and seized by the US government was a test by Tehran.
