A baby found without her parents Sunday night at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport has been identified according to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

Law enforcement says the baby's mother is also safe.

The BCA reported that the 10-month old girl arrived to the airport via light rail with a "person in crisis" who was not believed to be a parent or guardian.

Early Wednesday morning, BCA officials reported the girl had been identified and that the mother was safe.

The Minneapolis Police Department is taking over the investigation, according to Airport Police.
