Roseanne Barr raised some eyebrows over the weekend when she made several strange claims, including one about being sent to a reeducation camp if former President Donald Trump isn't reelected.
Barr, 70, was speaking at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in Phoenix, an event the conservative group said was “the largest celebration of our constitutional rights and freedoms.”
However, after she took the stage, Barr started to make some strange and bizarre claims.
At first Barr declared her support for former President Trump, saying she was “all in” and that she had to be.
“Because I know if I ain’t all in, they’re going to put my ass in a gulag. If he loses, I know what they’re going to do,” Barr yelled. “And I don’t wanna go to a reeducation camp and have to give all my money to a bunch of losers that never know how [to] get a job. I don’t care about them.”
Barr then said that they had to “stop these horrible communists” when referring to Democrats.
“Stalinists! Communists! With a huge helping of Nazi fascists thrown in. Plus one caliphate to replace every Christian democracy on Earth now! Occupy! Do you know that?” Barr said.
While the crowd was cheering for Barr at first, it continued to grow more and more quiet as her rant went on.
At one point, the former sitcom star started to call for “truth” while slamming both Democrats and Republicans.
“We don’t care which party is wrong, we know they’re both nothing but crap! They’re both on the take! They’re both stealing us blind! We just want the truth about everything we fought and died and suffered to protect!” Barr added.
On Sunday, in a post to X, Barr claimed that she deleted the speech she was supposed to give moments before going out on stage.
“I cannot believe I accidentally deleted my speech when making my last edit just before walking out. I had to wing it last night it was so scary. But I’m glad you guys liked it!” she wrote in the post.
Barr has made headlines as of late with some wild comments and conspiracy theories she made, even going as far as to make anti-semitic remarks.
During an episode of the podcast “This Past Weekend with Theo Von,” Barr told the comedian that “nobody died in the Holocaust.”
“That’s the truth. It should happen,” Barr said. “Six million Jews should die right now because they cause all the problems in the world. But it never happened. It never happened.”
