LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Just days before his scheduled halftime performance at the Super Bowl, Snoop Dogg and his “spiritual advisor” are being sued in Los Angeles by a woman on sexual assault allegations.

The woman, who said she worked as an on-stage dancer for the rapper, alleged that the incident happened after she attended a Snoop Dogg concert in May 2013, according to the court filing obtained by City News Service.

The woman alleged after attending a show in Anaheim, Snoop’s friend Donald Campbell, a.k.a. Bishop Don “Magic” Juan, offered her a ride to her home but took her instead to his own residence after she fell asleep in the vehicle, according to the filing. In the early hours of the morning, Campbell forced the woman to perform oral sex on him, she alleged.

Later that day, the woman said she was taken to Snoop Dogg’s studio to audition as a “weather girl” for his YouTube talk series, “Snoop Dogg’s Double G News Network. She was allegedly urged to do so by Campbell, who called it a “career move” for her, according to the filing.

While there, the woman alleged Snoop Dogg assaulted her in the studio’s bathroom. The woman claimed she felt pressured due to Snoop’s position of power over her and his influence in the industry, according to the court filing.

The woman’s attorney, Matt Finkelberg, told NBC News that she “refuses to be silenced and intimidated any longer.”

"Our client's hope is to inspire other victims of sexual harassment, assault, and battery to understand that they have rights, will be protected, and although they are victims, they will not have to be silenced forever," Finkelberg said.

Representatives for Snoop Dogg and Campbell did not immediately respond to requests for comment from NBC News on Thursday.
