SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (1010 WINS) -- Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer celebrated Friday's House of Representatives' infrastructure bill vote by taking to the dance floor.
The 70-year-old senator from New York was spotted dancing the merengue with New York City councilor Carlina Rivera in Puerto Rico at the SOMOS conference, celebrating the House passing of the infrastructure bill. NY1 reporter Gloria Pazmino captured Schumer's moves on video.

SOMOS is a non-profit organization based in Albany "committed to addressing the needs of the Hispanic population of New York State," according to its website. "Our conferences, held twice yearly, serve as a platform for legislator, scholars, business and labor leaders to address various concerns pertinent to this community."

Others at the 5-day conference included New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, NYC mayor Bill de Blasio, mayor-elect Eric Adams and New York Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate Letita James.
