Woman charged with helping 2 inmates escape Philadelphia prison; Pair still at large

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 21-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the escape of two inmates at Philadephia Industrial Correctional Center. The pair are still at large.

Authorities tracked down Xianni Stalling after they discovered recorded inmate calls between her and Ameen Hurst.

Hurst and Nasir Grant escaped from the prison on State Road around 8:30 Sunday night through a hole they allegedly cut through a fence.

Officials are continuing to search for the pair. Hurst was previously charged with four murders, two attempted murders and related offenses. Grant faces several gun and drug charges.

Stalling faces charges of escape, criminal use of communication facility, conspiracy and hindering apprehension, and harboring or concealing. She was charged early Thursday morning and remains behind bars.

Hurst and Grant remain on the loose.
