ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been making some news in the last week, with he officially naming his Vice President pick. No, it was not New York Jets Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but rather Nicole Shanahan, a Silicon Valley tech entrepreneur.

John Hancock and Michael Kelley of 'Hancock and Kelley' which listen to every Friday at 8:30 a.m. joined Total Information A.M. to discuss Kennedy Jr. and if there is a serious chance he can be a factor in the presidential race.

Kelley says that he has seen there people he knows who are supporting Kennedy Jr.

"In my personal life, there are a couple friends of mine who are young woman who are very left of center and pro choice have been posting stuff in support of Robert Kennedy Jr," said Kelley. "They were not big Hillary fans, they voted for Jill Stein and I think people will live with the consequences if they do (vote for Kennedy Jr.). Hopefully we do have that prototype for what happened in 2016 and there were some real consequences of losing that election. Hopefully people will shake out of what slumber they have with him."

Hancock meanwhile thinks RFK Jr. could be a factor if RFKi is able to appear on a majority of states' ballots. But Hancock says getting on all 50 states' ballots is a tough task.

"I don't see a path where Robert Kennedy Jr. gets on all 50 state ballots," said Hancock. "But if he's on all or most of the state's ballots that matters, in the polling right now, he running at 12%. I mean he could be a factor."
