ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- Hazel Erby has died at 75.
She was the first Black woman to serve on the St. Louis County Council. Her north county district re-elected her with large margins for 15 years.
Hazel Erby was the first Black woman to serve on the County Council. She was powerful, clear and kind. My sincerest condolences to her family and friends. This is a loss for our region. So sad to hear this.
