ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - For the 19th year, the St. Louis Cardinals are holding a blood drive to support life-saving needs across the region. The dates are June 14-16, and you can choose from 22 locations.
The American Red Cross says the last two years presented new challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and over the past month the number of donors has continued to decline.
Since its inception in 2004, nearly 16,500 blood donations have been collected at the Cardinals Blood Drive. This year, the goal is to collect more than 1,700 donations. Everyone who attempts to donate will receive a limited-edition Cardinals "Knock It Outta The Park" t-shirt sponsored by Bally Sports Midwest and the Red Cross.
