ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis City SC's inaugural season is shaping to be both a success on and off the pitch.
St. Louis City SC has seen an enormous amount of success in their first season in MLS, with the team already clinching a spot in the MLS playoffs.
They also have a comfortable eight point lead in the team's goals to clinch the top seed in the Western Conference playoffs with three games left in the regular season.
That success on the pitch has seen an impact in the team's merchandise sales as MLS announced the top 25 selling kits in the league and three St. Louis SC players are in the top 15.
City SC striker João Klauss, midfielder Eduard Löwen, and defender Tim Parker all make the list of top selling kits in the MLS, with Klauss being the second most sold kit in the MLS, unsurprisingly only behind Inter Miami forward and soccer legend Lionel Messi.

Löwen is also in the top 10 alongside Klauss, with the German midfielder being the ninth most sold jersey in the league. Parker has the 14th most sold jersey in the league.

Also in the list of highest selling kits in MLS include six U.S. Men's National Team players, 10 players who have played in a FIFA World Cup match, three of them being World Cup Winners(Inter Miami's Messi, Sergio Busquets and Atlanta United midfielder Thiago Almada), and nine players who were 2023 MLS All-Stars.
The rankings are based on overall retail sales of adidas MLS jerseys on MLS Store from Jan. 1 to Sept. 12, 2023.
