HUGE DRUG BUST: Missouri trooper finds 88 pounds of meth in I-70 traffic stop

SALINE COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) - A Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) trooper is being congratulated for taking a large amount of methamphetamine off the streets.

Authorities say a trooper was making a traffic stop on Interstate 70 in Saline County when a probable cause search of the vehicle revealed about 88 pounds of meth, $5,505 in cash and a firearm.

An image of the drug bust was shared by MSHP on Facebook and is going viral. As of Wednesday morning it has been shared more than 3,000 times.
