St. Louis (KMOX) - "Rush Limbaugh Day" won't be happening after all.
Missouri lawmakers removed the portion of a bill which would have designated January 12 in honor of the conservative talk radio icon who died on February.

Limbaugh died at the age of 70 from cancer.
House Republicans originally approved legislation this month that would have honored Limbaugh on his birthday. Democrats were opposed to the measure.
The measure that did pass includes several other state delegations according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
