Vanessa Bryant is remembering her late husband, Kobe Bryant, in a sentimental way.
Over the weekend, the 38-year-old mother shared a heartwarming photo to her Instagram page to honor the couple’s 20th wedding anniversary.
“Happy Anniversary, baby. I love you. 20 years. ❤️,” Bryant captioned the post.
Bryant shared a personal video in which her late husband explained how special their bond was. “We have a good time together,” he said in the clip. “I love her tremendously. We’re best friends too. It’s a blessing.”
More than a year after Kobe Bryant and their 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, were killed in a helicopter crash, Vanessa Bryant explained that the pain of losing her husband and daughter is still “unimaginable.”
Bryant went on to say how their three other daughters, Natalia, 18, Bianka, 4, and 20-month-old Capri, are the reason she gets up every morning.
In Vanessa Bryant’s words, “Getting out of bed and pushing forward is going to make the day better for my girls and for me. So that’s what I do.”
Kobe, Gianna, and seven others died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas on January 26, 2020.
On the anniversary of the deaths of Kobe and Gianna, Bryant spoke of dark moments living with the loss of her husband and daughter. “Let me be real — grief is a messed up cluster of emotions,” the 38-year-old shared. “One day, you’re in the moment laughing and the next day you don’t feel like being alive.”
