AccuWeather forecasters say the St. Louis region could get hit with more severe storms Monday morning.

Meteorologist Dean DeVore tells KMOX, he's watching a line of storms coming through the St. Louis metro that has a history of producing strong wind gusts and hail. "We are watching for the potential of those reaching severe levels in terms of hail and wind speeds as they move through [Monday] morning."
Forecasters say an area of stronger storms may also set up on Monday and Monday night from southern Missouri through the Ohio Valley.
Communities from Springfield, Missouri, to Cincinnati, Ohio, are advised to watch for thunderstorms that could again bring damaging winds and hail. For travelers, forecasters say the system could bring heavy downpours leading to poor visibility. Travel could be difficult along portions of Interstates 44.
