A Texas woman faces charges after allegedly getting drunk on a plane and taking off her pants.
Police in Mobile, Alabama report that 25-year-old Sierra Nicole McClinton got into an altercation with another passenger on the flight from Florida to Texas.
The flight crew tried to defuse the situation, but made the call to land the plane instead of continuing to Houston.
McClinton allegedly vomited on her pants after getting intoxicated and stripped down to her panties and T-shirt.
Another passenger took a picture and posted it to Instagram after McClinton was detained in Mobile, with a blanket wrapped around her.
Police say she yelled obscenities and refused to cooperate even after the unscheduled landing.
The plane continued to Texas after McClinton's arrest.
A rep for the airline issued a statement to Fox News, saying CommutAir said Flight 4332, “operating as United Express from Jacksonville to Houston, diverted to Mobile when a passenger became disruptive. The aircraft landed safely in Mobile where law enforcement officials met the aircraft at the gate. The flight continued on to Houston shortly after.”
