'The Hill' neighborhood of St Louis pursues historic neighborhood designation

St Louis 5th Ward Alderman Matt DeVoti joins Chris and Amy as 'The Hill' neighborhood is pursuing a 'local historic district' designation for the area of the city. It would be used as an aid for zoning and building in the area. 'It's neighborhood driven, it's resident-driven,' says DeVoti. He says to get the designation will likely take, 'many many months,' perhaps even '12-18 months.'
