
Another earthquake shook Wichita Wednesday morning. According to the U.S. Geological Survey it happened at 5:04 a.m. and measured 3.8-magnitude on the Richter scale.
Earthquakes with that magnitude are categorized with moderate shaking and very light damage. The epicenter was located just south of 13th & Rock Road.
This was the strongest among a series of 20 earthquakes occurring in northeast Wichita during the past three weeks. The seismic activity in Wichita began with earthquakes on Thanksgiving, more than a month ago.
A 2.0 magnitude aftershock was recorded by the Kansas Geological Survey 19 minutes later.
