A wrong-way accident in northwest Sedgwick County has claimed the lives of two people.
It happened Saturday evening, near Mt. Hope. One driver was going westbound in the east bound lanes of K-96 when that vehicle collided with another. By the time Sedgwick County EMS crews arrived on the scene, both vehicles were engulfed in flames.
Authorities are not sure what led to the accident. The names of the victims have not been released.
