At Tuesday's Wichita City Council meeting, citizens will be able to speak to council members live, from a remote location. Mayor Brandon Whipple tells KNSS News citizens can go two rooms at Century II, where microphones will be set up to feed the citizens' comments to the council chambers at city hall.

Will Wichita's public swimming pools and splash parks be usable during the heat of summer? Mayor Brandon Whipple says because of the pandemic, no decision has been made. The facilities could remain closed this summer for rennovation for next summer.

And the Mayor says City Hall is constantly being cleaned and sanitized to make it safe for the public during the pandemic. Other safety measures are in place, including masks available for visitors.

Whipple commented during Mondays with the Mayor ... on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
