Wichita's Public works department had several funding requests for water and sewer services across the city for 2021.
Those projects include:
* $2 million for arterial water mains at the north junction project.
* $5.7 million each for replacing or rehabilitating failing water and sewer infrastructure.
* $1.1 million to eliminate dead ends in water mains.
* $2.6 million to replace remaining spurlines at the Equus Wellfield north of the city.
* $1 million to replace water mains in the Planeview neighborhood.
* $3.07 million to replace water mains in the Hilltop neighborhood.
* $2.4 million for water and $1.762 million for sewer mains, which will help with future development.
The city says all of these projects will provide more reliable service to Wichita customers.
