Kansas Gov Laura Kelly signed an executive order stopping mortgage foreclosures and rent evictions in Kansas during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Wichita Eagle is reporting the document was signed and then filed with Secretary of State Scott Schwab on Tuesday. There was no announcment by the governor or her office of this order.
As of Tuesday night, no one from the governor’s office reached for comment.
