Kansas plans to increase testing soon in fight against virus

Kansas is gearing up for a large increase in testing as it works to bring an outbreak of the coronavirus under control. Dr. Lee Norman, Kansas secretary of health and environment, said Wednesday that he expects to have up to 64,000 test kits that can produce results in 45 minutes in the coming weeks. He says that would improve the ability to analyse what is happening. But he said that until that happens, "social distancing is the name of the game." Health officials reported 482 cases Wednesday, up 54 from Tuesday.
