Meitzner thinking about returning to normal after the pandemic

Three weeks into the Sedgwick County stay-home order ... and there is talk of trying to return to normal at some point ... in dealing with the pandemic. County Commission Chair Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News he's not sure what the county will recommend, but he's hoping local restaurants and retail shops can resume business as usual.

Meitzner says help has been coming into the community from Washington, D-C., thanks to efforts by the Kansas congressional delegation to get Sedgwick County its share of federal dollars.

He says there are a lot of "heroes" in the local pandemic ... and not just in the medical and first-responders community. He says banks and financial institutions have worked hard on getting loan money to businesses.

Meitzner commented on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
