More economic development incentives for Wichita small businesses

The Wichita City Council is reviewing its economic development policy to give more incentives to small buinesses. Mayor Brandon Whipple tells KNSS News the city is reviewing its formula for incentives to target more small businesses and not just the big companies the City usually goes after. But that doesn't mean the city will stop going after the big businesses. The Wichita City Council is also looking at creating a "land bank" to rennovate and replace abandoned buildings and houses.  The "land bank" would acquire abandoned houses and buildings and get them into the hands of non-profit agencies, which would then repair or replace them. Whipple commented during Mondays with the Mayor ... on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
