One woman and four men were arrested in W. Wichita, after a vehicle was hit by gunfire along W. Kellogg.
On Wednesday, a man and woman in their 30s were traveling in their pickup truck west-bound at Kellogg & Hoover, when they were shot at by people in a silver Ford Escape.
The victims later noticed that vehicle parked at a business west of Kellogg & Hoover, and police were called to the scene.
Three suspects were apprehended in a hotel room, and two others in parking lots. The arrestees were booked into jail on multiple charges, including aggravated assault, felony possession of a firearm, and aggravated weapons violation, criminal possession of a firearm after a previous conviction, and a state arrest warrant.
