The Sedgwick County Commission made three changes to a new health order that was signed by Local Health Officer Dr. Garold Minns on Tuesday.

The board increased the number of attendees allowed at large venues from 25 to 100 people or 50% capacity, whichever is less. Commissioners added adult recreational organized sports to the order, which had previously just listed youth sports. Finally, the board voted to allow two attendees at indoor multi-court facilities, instead of one.

Commissioners voted 4-1 on that final motion, with Lacey Cruse the sole no vote.

The new order goes into effect at 12:01 a.m., Thursday, December 10 and expires at 11:59 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2021.
