Sedgwick County says there's still plenty of time to go online to assess your need for funding under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security, or CARES Act.
The notice of funding opportunity was posted last Friday on the county's web site. Those that wish to respond have until June 19th. So far, 15 groups have completed the assessment.
Lindsay Poe Rousseau, CFO for the county, says the information you provide doesn't need to be perfect, since it's simply a needs assessment and not a formal request for funding. She also added that if someone doesn't fill out the form, it won't preclude them from applying for funding later.
If you have any questions for the county, you can contact them by email (sedgwickcares@sedgwick.gov) or call 316-660-7148.
